Ecodia
Locals.
A map of local merchants, with a reward you redeem at the counter before a timer runs out.

The challenge
Many people would choose the local shop over a chain if it were easy. Often it is not: you do not know what is nearby, there is no prompt in the moment, and loyalty schemes cost the merchant a cut. The intent is there; the prompt is missing.
What we built
Locals is a map of nearby merchants with a reward you redeem at the counter using a six-character code before a five-minute timer runs out. Customers pay nothing and the platform takes nothing; merchants set their own reward.
The platform takes nothing
Most local-loyalty apps charge the merchant. Locals does not. The merchant sets the reward, the customer pays no fee, and the platform takes no cut.
Customers pay nothing. The platform takes nothing.
How we worked
Locals is live on both stores and the web, and its web app uses Glovebox for directions, one Ecodia product using another. There is no customer fee and no platform cut.
What it adds up to
Live on the App Store, Google Play and the web, running a real Sunshine Coast merchant cohort.
Customers pay nothing and the platform takes nothing.
The web app embeds Glovebox directions, so choosing a merchant and navigating there are one flow.
An Ecodia product.
