The challenge
Adults who move to a new place rarely lack the desire for friends; they lack a low-stakes way in. Meetup culture asks a lot of a newcomer: show up alone to a big room and perform. The barrier is the size of the first step.
What we built
DayCrew shrinks the first step to a sixty-second form. Answer a few honest questions and you are matched into a small crew that meets on the beach, a named handful of people and a time and place, not a faceless event. Strangers in, friends out, staged on the sand.
A circle, not a crowd
The product's insight is that a small named circle is easier to walk into than a big event. The match does the introducing, so the newcomer arrives already belonging to something the size of a beach towel ring.

How we worked
DayCrew is a live, ongoing build for its founder: the web app runs real weekly sessions, and a matching engine pairs people into crews. Native apps are in testing behind the web product.
