DayCrew
Helps people new to a place find their people, in person, without the awkward first step.
The challenge
Adults who move somewhere new want friends and have no low-stakes way in. An open meetup asks a newcomer to walk into a room of strangers alone and perform.
What we built
DayCrew makes the first step small. A few honest answers are enough to be matched into a small crew of people, with a time and a place to meet, so nobody has to walk into a room of strangers alone.
How we worked
An ongoing build for DayCrew's founder. We converted their existing web app rather than rebuilding it, and both native apps are live: DayCrew on the App Store and on Google Play.
