Community Standards

Ecodia exists to help people do good in the real world. These Community Standards explain the expectations for participation across sidequests, offers, events, and social features. They apply to everyone: youth, creators, partners, and staff.

We prioritise safety, legality, respect, and environmental care. Content and conduct that undermine these goals are not allowed.

Respect & Inclusion

  • No harassment, hate, bullying, threats, or stalking.
  • No doxxing or sharing of others’ personal/sensitive information.
  • Obtain consent before photographing identifiable people, especially minors.
  • Be considerate: queues, noise, litter, and shared spaces.

Lawful & Responsible Use

  • Follow all applicable laws and signage. Do not trespass.
  • No illegal drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.
  • No scams, impersonation, or deceptive practices.
  • Respect IP: upload only content you have the right to share.

Environmental Care

  • Leave places better than you found them; pack out waste.
  • Do not disturb wildlife or habitats; follow local conservation rules.
  • Use appropriate tools and PPE for cleanups; avoid hazardous materials.

Content Rules & Safety

Content and activities must be safe and appropriate:

  • No dangerous stunts, edge/road/rail selfies, or instructions encouraging harm.
  • No sexual content, exploitation, or age-inappropriate material.
  • No graphic violence or incitement to violence.
  • We may remove unsafe content and update or disable sidequests that create risk.

Partners & Events

Partners and event organisers must provide safe premises and must not instruct participants to engage in unsafe or unlawful behaviour. Partners should clearly signpost rules, provide contact points, and respond promptly to safety concerns raised by participants or staff.

Enforcement & Consequences

We may take enforcement actions where these Standards are breached, including:

  • Content removal or edits
  • Feature restrictions (e.g., posting, submissions, events)
  • Temporary or permanent account suspension
  • Partner programme removal or offer suspension

We may notify authorities where serious harm or unlawful conduct is involved.

Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal. Include context, links, and why the decision should be reconsidered. We’ll review in line with these Standards and the Terms of Service.

Small Print

These Community Standards complement the Terms of Service. We may update them to address new risks and behaviours. Breaches may lead to content removal, feature restrictions, or account suspension.
