The Director Position
As a Director at the Ecodia, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our initiative. You’ll oversee the planning, development, and execution of projects, ensuring everything aligns with our mission of sustainability, community building, and innovation. Your responsibilities will include managing teams, fostering partnerships, and making high-level decisions that guide the project forward.
What We Need
Firstly, Ecodia is a community driven feat. Holding a place on the board of directors, provides legal influence over the direction of the project, but we are all equal in opportunity and potential. Therefore, to take up a position on the board, we need to see that you share the collective vision. This includes big ideas, action and connection. We need to see you in action, and creating change. As a leader, you'll be expected to lead by example, inspiring others to do the same; for people and planet.

IMPORTANT: This is a big responsibility (personally and legally), and there's no financial compensation for the duties of a charity director... so make sure you've got the space in your life. Commitment is a MUST!
Despite these warnings, this is a massively rewarding role. You'll be a core part of driving social, environmental and political change on the Sunshine Coast, helping provide housing, food, sustainability and renewable energy and conservation to communities, creating a bigger change than you could have ever imagined.
