Companies have had one human manager since LLCs existed, because the law required it. Wyoming changed that in 2021. The manager can now be an algorithm, with the same statutory authority a human manager would have and the same duties owed to members. Most lawyers don't know yet. Most founders don't know yet. The ones who do can register their AI as the entity that runs the company. Manager of record. Named on the filing.

W.S. 17-31-104, under the Decentralised Autonomous Organisation chapter. Enacted 2021. Only Wyoming. The algorithmic manager carries authority and duties, the company runs through it, members hold the equity.
